Is the design really free?
Yes. When you buy your cabinets, counters, tile, and flooring through us, the design work is included at no separate charge. There is no hourly design fee and no upfront retainer. You get a professional designer guiding the whole project, paid for the same way a big box store's design counter is, except here you get an actual designer.
Do I have to buy everything from you to get design help?
The included design comes with purchasing your materials here, because we are a supplier and dealer, not a fee-for-service design firm. In practice that is the value: you get a designer's plan and the materials to build it in one place, for less than buying the same products at the warehouse with no design help at all.
Can you work with my builder or contractor?
Yes. We design the kitchen or bath, supply the materials, and hand off to your contractor, or connect you with a vetted one if you need it. We will also respectfully question the placeholder choices a builder or architect dropped into the plans, because small layout changes early are what make a room work instead of just function.
What does the design process look like?
It starts with a conversation about how you live and cook, in our showroom or in your home, followed by measurements and a layout. From there you make selections with the designer, see them come together, and approve the plan before anything is ordered. One person guides you start to finish, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Can you help me picture it before I commit?
Yes. We use the same professional kitchen and bath design software Tammy worked in during her commercial interiors career to lay out your space, and you can see and touch the actual cabinet doors, stone, and tile in the showroom. Seeing the real materials together, not just thumbnails online, is what makes the decisions feel confident.
